Bari Stool (Bar) Table
Shown in: Carrara MarbleThe Bari stool table is fashioned from hard wearing stone available in beautiful Cararra marble (as shown), striking Emerald Black granite, or the ever popular Zimbabwe Black granite. The classically influenced stone table-top contrasts with the modern chrome-finished upright to create an elegant yet modern design. The marbles and granites used for these tables are around 200 to 300 million years old, and are quarried in Italy and south Africa respectively. Due to the way these materials form there may be small pinholes (voids originally full of gas or moisture) on the surface. There may also be venting, which looks like a crack but is under the surface and does not start or end at the edge of the top. The makers of these tables carefully select the marble and granite they use, and these are natural features which add to the look of this material and do not affect performance. Table: Stone and chrome Available sizes: H93cm x Dia. 70cmH93cm x Dia. 75cmH93cm x Dia. 80cm

Elementary Statistics Tables (Open University text) - Henry R. Neave
ISBN: 041508458X Stock status: Temporarily out of stock Published: Oct 1981 Format: Paperback Pages: 48 These tables have been carefully prepared for the many users of statistical analysis at an introductory level. The enthusiastic reception accorded to the author's Statistics Tables (George Allen & Unwin, 1978) by specialist statisticians highlighted the need for a briefer set of tables to be tailored to the requirements of students who have to use statistical analysis but with no greater commitment to it than is represented by a basic and often brief introductory course. Both the coverage and the presentation of this set of tables have been determined with great care. In contrast with competing sets at this level, the content should match closely the requirements of users, who have little mathematical background. The book is a positive teaching and learning aid, not just a stark and impenetrable reference item. Most of the tables are accompanied by fully explanatory introductory text and by some examples of use. Each table has been designed and laid out carefully for maximum clarity and ease of use, features which the large page size should also reinforce. There are many new or improved tables, some being much more extensive than in competing books. In view of the increasing recognition of nonparametric tests for their convenience, ease of use and wide application, the tables covering these tests should provie especially valuable. These tables should serve the needs of all users of elementary techniques of statistical analysis, from engineers and technicians to geographers and social scientists. All students taking first courses in statistical analysis will find them an invaluable aid. Contents: Preface The binomial distribution: individual probabilities The bionomia distribution: cumulative probabilities Charts giving confidence intervals for p and critical values for the sample fraction The Poisson distribution: individual probabilities Poisoon probability chart (cumulative probabilities) Probabilities and ordinates in the normal distribution Percentage points of the normal distribution Percentage points of the Student t distribution Percentage points of the chi-squared (X2) distribution Percentage points of the F distribution Critical values for the Kolmogorv-Smirnov goodness-of-fit test (for completely specified distributions) Critical values for the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test for normality Critical values for the sign test Critical values for the Mann-Whitney U test Criticl values for the Kolmogorov-Smirnov two-sample test Critical values for the Kruskal-Wallis test (small sample sizes) Critical values for the Kruskal-Wallis test (equal sample sizes) Critical values for Friedman's test Critical values for the sample linear correlation coefficient r The Fisher z-transformation The inverse of the Fisher z-transformation Charts giving confidence intervals for p & critical valuesfor r Critical values for Spearman
