Helicopter Thrill for Two (UK Wide)

A glimpse of the life of the rich and famous as you take to the skies in a chopper! Nothing else comes close to touching the magic of vertical flight. From the moment you lift into the air to the second the helicopter settles gracefully back on the ground it is an unforgettable experience. Take your seats as the pilot climbs gracefully to over 1,000 feet and accelerates to over 120 miles an hour. You will interact with the pilot via the headset (don't forget to listen out for air traffic on the radio!), swooping over the landscape and then settling gently back on the ground.On arrival you will meet your pilot and receive a brief technical and safety briefing then it's up, up and away as you accelerate vertically into the skies. Your pilot will put the helicopter through it's paces to show you just how versatile these incredible machines really are. Skim across the trees and watch the world pass beneath you before coming into land after a five minute adrenaline rush that is sure to be the envy of all your friends!On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for ten months, for two people. Your flight lasts for five minutes from take off to landing but the whole experience will last for around 20 minutes. Minimum age is 6 years old. There may be another passenger on this flight. The design of the helicopter ensures everyone gets a window seat so don't forget your camera! Please note that you do not pilot the aircraft during this experience. Helicopter Flight Experience

An opportunity to try out the sensation of a helicopter flight and to take the controls Normally reserved for the rich and famous, this is your chance to get a taste of the high life in this 30 minute experience. You are free to either sit back and enjoy the ride, or if you would rather, you can use your 30 minutes as a trial lesson. Trial lessons are the ideal way to start that journey towards your helicopter licence, you can even take the controls during your first flight! After arrival at the helicentre your lesson commences with a pre-flight briefing. You will then discuss and plan a flight path of your choice with your own personal instructor, and then it's time for take off!! Your instructor will demonstrate forward flight, the art of hovering and the unique maneuverability of a helicopter before you will be given a chance to do some hands on flying of your own. At some locations you will be are presented with a commemorative certificate. On purchasing this experience ou will be sent a voucher valid for ten months. Your weight must not exceed 17 stone and your height must not exceed 6ft 4inches. Larger helicopters are available at extra cost payable directly on when booking. Tuition is usually in a Robinson R22 Beta. Actualy flying time is around 25 mins. All training helicopters have dual controls so the instructor can safely demonstrate and monitor the handling of the aircraft. All flight time counts towards a helicopter licence should you decide to continue training. Please book well in advance to ensure a mutually convenient time.
