The 'Wire Chair' consists of a moulded cross-woven stainless steel wire frame that is bent and formed to create contours to support the users body comfortably. The seat and back is mounted on an 'Eiffel' base, which Eames used on a number of chair designs to great effect. The seat pad is upholstered in semi-aniline leather.
